I finally won the humidity/ heat battle in my baby sulcata's, Pancake (I know it's not a pancake tortoise), enclosure. I put small pools of water on the bottom and topped with organic top soil. In part of the enclosure, I planted grass. The rest of the enclosure has orchard bark over the damp top soil. I also installed one of those Zoo Med foggers. The temp is holding at about 90 degrees and humidity is ranging between 80 and 90%.

I'm currently using a 50 watt basking bulb and an under the tank heating pad. I was worried about getting a 100 watt because the enclosure is rather short and the light would be so close to my baby. Would a 100 watt burn her?
