So, we just built this for our TTBT. She has been inside for a year and we see her every couple of weeks. We also noticed that the soil was much warmer 4 inches down than the surface of the soil inside.

So, today we finished her outdoor environment. Is about 6 inches deep with about 6 inch of wall. We took her old enclosure and put it outside overnight so she can acclimate to the out doors. It’s 85 out side and 83 inside. I figured that was to much of a difference.

This will be our first outdoor pet. Does any one have a list of things we should pay attention to and things that are totally normal? Like not seeing her for a few days? Always stay I hidden?

She’s probably right around 3 inches from front of shell to back of shell and we have had her for right about a year.

The new one is the one with plants and the old one has the “predator protection” lid sitting on top for the night until we move her.

The plan was to see if she’ll come out tomorrow and then just swap her over with out making her to mad.

Thanks! Sorry for the long winded post.

Location is Dallas Texas.
