Fantastic pic. They love exploring. I guess because it is dense it got a grip and kept going. The downward journey may be a big slide.

Quick question, hope you don’t mind me asking, what substrate are you using? I only ask because I think I can see some moss in there? If it is, I’d get it removed asap, it can cause impactions if eaten.
