Welcome to the forum. Beautiful torts. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, you have many things that need changed for the health of your tortoises. One is two tortoises should never be housed together. They need there own enclosures. You may not see it but they will bully each other until one gets sick and dies. The substrate you are using is not good. Sand can cause irritation to the skin, eyes ect and is a big impaction risk. That bowl in your picture is dangerous to. We are here to help you so your tort will live a happy healthy life. Please go to our Russian tortoise section and read the care sheets posted at the top of the section. Upload some pictures of your entire enclosure, lights torts. After reading, come back with any questions. The care sheets should answer your questions and tell you how to set up your tortoise properly. Many breeders, pet stores and even vets are not using the proper settings. They are unfortunately, using old outdated info which can hurt your tortoise. We strive here to get the most current and updated info out to new owners so it can be done right. We will help you
