I just love those tortoises!

I looked up images of castor bean plant and seems like its not as shiney as Kyle's plant. First thing that popped into my mind was Japanese something or other, but I can't pull it out of my memory bank.

Very cool! Is it just me or does one of the torts have spikes on its chin?

No, I think you're the only one with spikes on his chin! :p

I'm a she, and on closer inspection, it's a cleverly placed foot. But look at the first picture and it totally looks like the claws are chin-spikes!

Hi Laura:

I KNOW that you're a "she." I was making a not so funny joke. "Is it just me or blah, blah" So I said it was just you!

Ahh, I gotcha. I assumed the pronoun was in reference to the subject of the sentence instead of the implied object... I'm used to a lot of people thinking I'm a 'he' because of my apparently-masculine-sounding screen name (which, ironically, is the name of the corn goddess in pre-Aztec mythology). However, now that I'm reading it as it was intended, yes it was just me. :)

(Chin-spikes would be cool, though...)

You have a VERY nice enclosure! oh and the torts aren't bad either even though they're not leopards.
