She has some bulking up to do! Very friendly and active. Chomping everything in her path as she walks.

Its not a disease. Tort is beautiful, appears very healthy and will live a normal life under proper care.

She's a Sonoran Desert Tortoise. Very pretty and friendly little girl.

If your thinking up names, you might call her Chicken Little. LOL 1st picture reminds me of the children's book, Are YOU my Mother? Congrats again on your new rescue/adoptees.

Hahaha! Chicken Little would be perfect. I'll run it by my 2nd oldest daughter (it's *her* tortoise) and see what she thinks. Chances are, she'll call it something strange like, "Billy-Bob-Wob".

Wow, the Sonoran desert tortoises are dark. She is quite lovely. Is this also part of the family moving leopard one hour drive to rescue? Yay! There were 3 tortoises in that pic. What was the third little one?

Two Sonoran torts! Then other went to a buddy if mine and is enjoying life as I type.
