hi! I am new here just recently adopted a Russian tortoise. I love him very much and he is super cute. I've only had him for 5 days and he eats and walks and climbs his stairs. My problem is that I think he doesn't like me. I assume he's just afraid so I've been leaving him alone other than talking to him a little. He walks around and does things but when he sees me he kind of freezes and gets scared. Is there anything I can do? I know it takes them a while to adjust but I'm scared that if I just leave him alone all the time that he will never get used to me and always be scared of me which I don't want. Any suggestions?

Give him time. He will soon learn that you are the food God and will love you. Just be patient
