New tortoise set up

Your likely going to need a closed enclosure to keep it humid for the tortoise.

Looks nice. Couple things. Those disc gauges are not very reliable. When you can replace with digital with probes and get a temp gun. It will help you to see if the disc are working correctly. Also i don't see any heat source. Ceramic heat emitters are fairly cheap and last forever.
And we do need to know what species will be living here and how big.

The set up is for a horsefield tortoise who is currently 3 inches in length. The heat lamp is situated over the slate basking area which is behind the uvb in the corner. I have a thermometer, thermostat and hygrometer on order should be here in 2 days.the discs are temporary. The substrate is top soil it is slightly moist but not too much so. Humidity is staying at 60, been like that 3 days. Got it all set up and running before putting Flash (the tortoise), into his new home.
