Well I spare you all the details of the "Great Atlanta Beach collapse and basement flood of 2023" Let's just say my plans for a beach turned out to be awful, much like most of my ideas. Spent a few days putting this together. Now the beach is outside the pond. Been planting a lot of plants lately. I don't buy plants. I go for a lot of nature walks and have woods near me I go with my dog. There's a few creeks and whenever I see a cool looking plant growing close to the creek or out of it I take a small cutting or real small one and take it home and wash it off and plant it. Most times they live. I can't wait til it all fills out. Today I got this, I think it is Egyptian papyrus? But I took a cutting there was a ton growing. Hopefully it takes root. I also found this there was a large clump of them. I'm sure is Some kind of flower @Tom The residents have gotten pretty comfortable and out and about now here is a few pics. Even got some egg Laying action going on tonight. There's a couple yearlings and 2 year Olds in here and it's hard to see but the last Pic is EVERYBODY but the females dad! Lol.

Well the vacation/ nightmare is over. I got cleared to go back to work and drive and I had already been looking. Got very lucky, Started last week and I work for my city Parks and Recreation dept. I work at the park 2 min away from where i live where I used to go everyday to walk champ, and now Roxie. The lake is literally nicknamed "Turtle Lake" My new officeI think it helped to get the job majorly when I wore my "Let's go Brandon" T shirt to the interview.
