Hi everyone,

new to this site so thought I would say hi.

We've had shelly our hermanns for about a year now, I'm not sure how old she is (guessing about 3yrs old) I've just inherited another hermanns who is a bit older and bigger (definitely male) was a bit worried about putting them together but they seem to get on great (any advice on this would be great).

Also could anyone advise me if if shelly is male or female??? I thought female but haven't a clue to be honest.

Cheers

Hi Tony:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

I'm not good with the Hermann's tortoises, but I'm guessing female.

I think she is female because Hermann males are meant to have quite a prominent tails, I believe.

Tony welcome to the forum! Looks female from what I can see, too. Cute house you have for them. Did you make it?
