I think a lot agree by the way, I’m not one for social media either, but so many people we get joining here are, so it just makes sense to try and spread the forum word other places new members look at before coming here

Honestly the photos are just for a bit of fun and help boost the algorithm for the posts that have the care information

Just a thought. Would you want to of smooth ones. To show what they are really supposed to look like? So many out there are pyramided and most people think that is normal and how they should look.

At least seperate the smooth from the pyramided ones and label as normal shell/what they should look like and then abnormal shell/what they shouldn't look like and TFO will teach you how to do the proper smooth shell?

I didn't mean to sound so gruff. It just irritated me that I jumped through all their hoops to make an account, followed the directions to the letter and they said there was something wrong and try later.

Yes definitely! The account was made around 10 years ago now by Josh, I believe he used to have folks pm to feature on the page, some of them do have pyramiding, but there’s definitely lots of smooth healthy torts on their too which is nice
There were some old photos of torts with dogs or none fruit eaters eating fruits, I though best put into archive instead of public viewing, it’s looking much better and would love to fill it full of great information and photos of happy healthy torts

If members have ones with pyramiding, brief description why would be great, ie used an old method whilst raising, learnt better, or, unknown past due to rehome.

Already gots some newer videos up promoting the forum with different care information topics(all videos are pre approved by Josh), hopefully encouraging folks to check it out, got some more on the way soon

Were you trying to make a personal account? Sorry it didn’t work Would love to see posts from your Yvonne! I’m sure you have some lovely photos to share! I’d definitely follow you on the forums account and on our red foots lol, but no worries if it’s not something you’re interested in

I’m not huge on it myself, but it’s been nice checking out some of the members accounts and sharing forum content

Giving this another nudge, should’ve been clearer in the initial post, some nice photos of your tortoise along with a little of their back story would be lovely! It’s nice having folks meet the members beloved shell companions No pressure, just not sure how many saw this
