Anyone here using a Nicrew? If so, are they Reliable? Can it control a CHE? I'm asking because I installed one and have had 1 CHE stop working within a day and found a small crack in it.

What wattage was your CHE?
What wattage is the NICREW rated to control?
What temp setting did you have it set for?

Hello Maro,Thanks for the Reply , The CHE was just a 50 Watt, Temps are set On at 80 Off at 83. It will cycle On/Off usually within 40 minutes, Is that to much On/Off per day for the CHE to handle?

Most folks use a thermostat set to the ambient you want, lets say 85. The Thermostat will regulate (off/on) to maintain the temp you have set.
Ive personally never used a thermostat with a hi/low setting like you have.

Regardless, CHEs are meant to cycle like you have.

Does your enclosure have a roof or is it open-topped?

Im using a reptitherm digital thermostat . My Che are 100w. S et at 82 . Works l Ike a charm. Outside boxes use Zilla thermostats good for 1000w . I have had good success with both of them

Hello Maro, it's an Enclosed 4x12. The Nicrew only controls a single 50 watt CHE for Nala's Nightbox. Thanks Again for all your Time and Advice.

Maro, isn't the Nicrew a Thermostat? You set ambient, then set the difference desired. It has a Sensor. The times I mentioned are me monitoring the CHE through a Govee.

Hello Jamie,Thanks for your Time, The Exact cycle time is 30 min On, 1 hour Off.I lose 3 degrees per Hour. What Temps are you cycling?
Different enclosures have different ranges, but most recently I set up my MEP'S enclosure heating to cycle on at 73° and off at 83°.

Yes….a thermostat that regulates both high/low setting. Your wattage is all good as well. Not sure why your CHE had an issue really.
