It seemed a bit chilly today when I went out to get firewood. It is currently 3 degrees F, or -20C. Cold no matter how you measure it. The snow is frozen and hard, so no digging for grass. Looks like romaine might be on the menu today.

Well, it doesn't get cold enough to snow here, thank goodness. I'm a warm weather person...really don't like the cold at all. All of the orange groves around my house have their diesel air plane motors running to keep the frost off the trees, and there's quite a layer of frost on everything outside. I imagine little puddles of water have ice on them. But once the sun comes out (unless its foggy), most of that goes away.

I DON'T LIKE BEING COLD!!!!!

The snow we have is like ice it's been so cold. However, next week is suppose to be in the mid 40's that's like a heat wave this time of year, ya. I don't mind cold, I hate snow. I also hate too hot, I sweat easily:( and hate it. I just want perfect weather, that's all:D

No snow in MD, but is grass from your yard better than chopped up timothy hay?

If so I'll start gathering some.

I won't comment on how it is here, but I feel bad for all who are snowed or iced in.

That's horrible. I was in Miami until yesterday. Most days were 78-80 and sunny
