No tail

Hi all

Had hactchling pop out last Sunday. The poor liitle guy had a very large yolk sack which has closed nicely...I've noticed over the week his back legs are a bit stumpy but he seems to get about ok. This morning i noticed he has no tail.(photo attached) but he seems to be moving and eating ok. 1 of 3 from the same clutch others are fine. Any advice?

I've not noticed anything yet...but im going to isolate from others to see if anything appears!

I cannot quite tell from that photograph if there is a cloacal opening there, but it looks like either there is not one or there is a severe stricture. If there is not one present or if there is only a tiny opening and solid waste does not pass freely, the kindest act would be to euthanize immediately instead of waiting for things to build up internally and progressively increase suffering.

Sorry for the delay in replying!
Poor guy didn't make it. On a positive note we have 6 healthy active little guys from the same clutch. Thanks for all your advice and well wishes.
