Norma came from a zoo. She is very standoffish and runs from anyone she does not recognize. She is always in slow mode, eating, digging a nest hole, etc. She is one of our smaller females.

She is adorable....maybe she realizes "what's the rush" ? I believe I would be stand offish if I use to live in a zoo.. (now all I hear is the "You, belong in the Zoo-- the San Diego Zoo" song).....lol :D

Happy to see she is at your palace and not in the zoo any longer....like she did her hard time and now she is on perma vacation....:p

:tort: LOL! Just a keeper with a boat load of love for tortoises. We do not hibernate aldabras. Based on my experience and knowledge most that try to breed aldabras are lacking the right males. Large and mature males were the one factor that turned our program in the right direction.
