We recently got a new car. It has a 3.5V6 engine. I changed the oil today at 2,000 miles. It has direct injection. ( DFI) and uses 0-20 oil. Like water.

Son came over and opened the drain plug for me and exclaimed "How old is this oil, it's black"

He couldn't believe there was only 2 thousand miles on it.

The filter removal tool is still attached to the filter....it was so tightly installed that the tool is egg shaped now.

That is some dirty oil for 2k miles. Glad I changed it....i had a "feeling".

A brand new car or a used car but knew to you?
Cuz that's some dark oil for a brand new car after only 2000 miles. I don't know that much about cars, but I do know what the oil is supposed to look like and that's not it, wow!

Yup, brand brand new!

Wanna know the kicker? In the owners manual, the oil change interval is recommended at 10,000 miles with a filter that can't hold 4oz of oil!

LMFAO
