My Merlin hasn't been eating a lot of the food I give him. He more or less just scatters it around and walks all over it. I have been feeding him red lettuce and green beans. He usually loves green beans. So any ideas why he wont eat?

Can you remind us what species of tort you have and how long you have had him please?
Are you keeping him indoors or out?
What temperature do you have in the 4 important areas? Under the basking lamp, warm end, cool end and overnight minimum?
Do you soak him? If so, how often and how long for?
Are there any signs of illness, e.g. a runny nose, dry eyes, etc?

Well I think I figured out the mystery. My little guy hates red lettuce! I can't believe he is already spoiled.
I have 1 Russian, Cybil; she can't stand it. She'll push it around to the other girls and will snag what she wants 1st... silly brats..
