Numbers on signatures

I'm almost embarassed to ask, but what does the number-dot-number in each signature mean? ex: 1.2 sulcata, 0.0.3 kids, etc?

I'd be really curious if you had 0.0.3 kids

Some say the third number is juvenile but in the case of some animals you can have adult or near adult and not know the sex (sulcatas, aldabras, galaps...)
