It has been 8 weeks since we rescued Goo. In that time he has really adapted to his new home. He runs to me when I bring him his food, eats from my hand, and is just plain darling.
It looks as though he has had a pretty tough life, his shell looks pretty scared up. When he first arrived, there it looked as though he was shedding a thin layer of substance off of his scutes. A lot of that has peeled off, ( some with my help ), revealing a very pretty scute underneath.
What exactly causes that condition, and is it natural?
