I saw he was out on the surface of his coir and started talking to him, whereupon he would nod for a while, then stop. Then i would say his name again, and the same thing would happen.
So i got my camera.
I presume this is not the usual territorial head bobbing i've seen vids of. His neck is not as far out, the movements are smaller.
Also the nods are synchronized with short breaths that inflate and deflate his neck
