OK.....So now hubby is just adamant on Bella not hibernating, I come in from the kitchen and he has her his lap, .....said he wasn't much for it to begin with....what do I do? He is bringing in her container, filling it with Bed-A-Beast and dirt, her basking rock, light and wooden hide hole......how soon before I should soak her and feed her?

Let her warm up to room temp and settle in, then you can soak her tomorrow. It hasn't been too long.
Well, at least your husband is attached to your tort!

Thank you...ya know we have had her for a long time now and this hibernation thing is an ordeal every year........and hubby really love her, as do I......how can not fall in love with her....she stretches out her little neck for you to rub it, she loves her neck rubbed gently and follows you around the yard like a dog in the summer........

She doesn't *need* to hibernate, you know. She won't even want to if the temperatures are high enough.
