Old jewelry display case

I just picked up a old jewelry display case. Any thoughts on how to convert this to a tortoise. I was thinking of taking the doors off the back and replacing them with screens? Any do's and do not's? I have not figured how to load pics from my tablet yet bit I will try to post some soon.

I'd have to see it first, but sounds interesting.

Keep in mind that it will have to be lined in some way to protect the wood.

But is it still a viable frame?? You can do alot with a great frame

I've got one of those, worked great for my bearded dragon until we had to move to this cracker box and it won't fit.

Not a bad thought on the frame. I am going to wait til the summer. Snow and 10 degrees. The 40 gallon breeder is going to work for now.
