Will this enclosure work?

I been looking at ideas for my russians tortoises. Even tho I have a tortoise table I built 7 ft. I wanted to attempt something like this for a while and want honest opinions like humidity and light and temp control problems or substrate or tortoise problems if I go with the idea of doing it. Ta daaaa A JEWELRY GLASS DISPLAY CASE! You know the ones at the jewelry stores. Some arr wide and deep and you can slide in the back cabinet to clean and feed them and lock it up. Convert a piece of it with lights for tortoise and all the stuff. Would it work?

I don't know why it would not. If it holds in humidity and heat, then it would be perfect for baby sullys and leos. I would make sure that it is water proof with a good seal and some air flow if you are not going to open it often. Also, if the door is even with the floor, you might want to put in a barrier so when you open it stuff does not fall out and put in something to block their view of the outside world. Now I want to go look for one near me! Send pics if you do this please.

These are how some look and I taken pics of places selling them or throwing them away. To me they seem to be really good to hold reptiles or small tortoises like russians or baby tortoises. Check them out for some ideas. Im going to get one and convert one and do a step by step also for anyone interested. Hope you guys do well and beat me the punch

I see the pics now. They would make some great closed chamber enclosures. I would just put some polyurethane on the wood to prevent it from molding or warping.

Thanks I thought for a while they do great I want to keep looking for one made of marble cuz then it go along woth furniture
