Has anyone used Olive trees (Olea europaea) in their enclosure? I haven't seen it on any of the lists, and could only find it mentioned in passing on one of the threads.

I have not seen them on any list. For some reason I am thinking olives are not suposed to be eaten right off the tree. I could be wrong.

This was all I could find on the subject:

Mediterranean Olive Trees

*

The olive tree produces the edible olives and oil used throughout the world, with the majority originating from the Mediterranean area. The only member of the Oleaceae family that produces edible fruit, its olives must be processed to remove the bitterness caused by a glucoside.
