Lavender and torts

We'd like to plant some lavender in a flower bed that's adjacent to our tort enclosure. Eventually it would probably flop over the side and be within munching distance. And in the longer term they'll have run of the yard and freedom to graze on whatever we plant.

I haven't seen lavender on any lists of plants that are toxic for torts, nor on lists of foods they like. Anyone have any experience with it?

I've read that lavender is safe, and the torts aren't really interested in it anyways. Tortoise table I think.

I has lavender in my russians setup and she'll nibble it one in awhile but isn't crazy over it.

Good to know, as that's kind of what we're going for (something that won't hurt them, but they'll probably not devour). Thanks!
