Looks like the new growth is coming in smooth. Hard to tell from those photos. The weight seems pretty good. As long as he is gaining weight it's good. You know they all grow at different rates, so its difficult to say what is normal or not.

As long as he eats, poos and runs. I will not worry. Thy all little different from one to another.
Haha! This cracks me up because I was once posting the same pics and asking the same questions, when mine was smaller then yours. "Is his weight ok? Is he big enough?" lol now only 16 months later he is over 10 pounds!
