I try to buy my supplies at local hardware or big box home improvement stores, cheaper that way. If I were in the market for a tortoise I would check out the sellers here on the Forum before I looked elsewhere.

Reputable breeders. I like to see the tortoise before I buy it, I choose the healthiest, active tort in the group.
I prefer to buy tortoises directly from breeders who start babies the right way. Most of them don't. Most supplies I get from Home Depot or Walmart. Soaking tubs, humid hides, terra cotta plant saucers for food and water, digital thermometers, light fixtures, extension cords, timers, lumber, paint and primer, sealant, screws, etc... For the few things not found at those places I order from specific sellers that have what I need.
Indoor enclosures from Animal Plastics.
Radiant heat panels from Reptile Basics.
Thermostats from LLL Reptile.
Seed Mixes, Kane heat mats, Herbal Hay, and other odds and ends from TortoiseSupply.com
Orchid bark for substrate I get at two local nurseries.
