I know a lot of folks on here buy tort supplies at OSH, the hardware store chain, as I do. Loews just bought them and is closing many of their stores, and there are big discounts to be had this weekend. Frankly it makes me sad -- I always liked the helpful service there, in contrast to some of the bigger chains. I've had a guy hunting around with me for perfect Rubbermaids for my DTs, and folks in the garden center regularly ask about my torts. At any rate, it's a good time to stock up and get some good deals.

Thanks for sharing. Lowe's closed several stores in OC a couple of years ago, so it is odd how they do these acquisitions as far as what stays and what goes. It's visit garden time to get more plants, fun. Crack of choice, the plants. You can never have too many roses or hibiscus or native grasses! : )

Yeah...this happened a month or so ago. So far the OSH in my neighborhood shows no signs of being closed.
