Yes these were directly under lamp at warm end

It was reading 45celcius with 75watt bulb. Thanks for birthday wishes

No can’t raise any higher as have plastic sheeting over to help with humidity.

Hello I’m glad humidity is doing better, it could ideally do with raising in the warmer end, though it’s normal for it to be slightly lower where the bulbs are. I’m thinking it’s because it’s not quite all sealed in enough, but it’s definitely better than before whilst you figure something else out, temperature wise I think I’d try a 50watt yes, aim for 35-40c directly under the bulb, I’m thinking the cooler temperature might be trigging them to go into a bit of a sleepy state hence the burrowing under the log, either that or they’re just a little stressed from some of the changes, they can be dramatic like that lol.

Also if it does appear quite sealed in, check that the entirety of your substrate is damp enough🙂

Then maybe you could lower the 50watt to make it closer?
