I'm really excited about this outdoor tort area that I'm building so i decided to make a progress thread to post pictures of it in the making!! It's roughly about 60sqft. It will have grass covering about half of it along with tortoise friendly weeds, and the other half will be cypress mulch. :) here are some pictures of what I just got done. Next is potting soil!

Potting soil is in!! Woohoo!! I decided I'm making the whole thing grass instead of half grass half cypress. Now I just gotta figure out how to plant grass.... lol. I'm terrible at keeping plants alive so I'm not too excited about the whole grass thing.. if anyone will kill it, it's me. I couldn't even get indoor wheat grass to grow! Lol

Nice and big! Who's going in there?
Weed mixes are easy to grow, and grass doesn't need too much care :D

Thanks! Nobody is going in there permanently yet. It's basically just an area for grazing and sunning for a couple hours. I have a sulcata, and a redfoot, and then a desert tort that i will be rescuing this coming week. Eventually it will be the desert torts year round home, but he won't go out there until he's healthy (he's got a lot of issues right now) so for right now it will just be a sunning area for the sulcata and redfoot. :)
