Worked hard to get Dora, our adult three toed box turtle, permanent enclosure finished! There was about two feet of rock buried under dirt, thanks to previous owner. It's not finished but walls are buried and built up... plants planted. We let Miss Dora roam around and now know we need to modify the pond and move it away from the wall so she can walk around it. But she loves the new space. Ill be moving her in there permanently next week after we let the plants establish themselves and move the pond.
Not all her stuff (hides, etc.) are in there as they are still with her. But thought I'd share pics of he progress and her checkin out her new dig. She was fed worms and was trying to eat my shoe laces
Morning sun, afternoon shade. I think she's gonna love having more space.
