Grassy covered and lots of hides. Just make sure to bury the permitter of the enclosure a good 4-6" deep into the ground. Also make the perimeter smooth(I'd use a 2x12s or something like that) those guys are excellent climbers.

Or something like this. This enclosure is not particularly for our pancakes but I will actually be assembling there enclosure soon. That will be just like it. But I'm going to add a 1x6 on the entire top rail overhanging to the inside of the enclosure since they could possibly scale the wall. Crafty little guys for sure. Took me 1 hour and 20 minutes to make, cost 110 bucks or so. 4" screws 4 1x6 for the corner hides and 16 landscape timbers. This is 8x16 though you can go smaller of course or larger if you wish.
