Wow, Daniel: You went all out! Most folks just stack the block up on top of each other but I see you actually mortared them together. This looks really great. I'm sure your tortoises will love it! Will your greenhouse serve a "plant" purpose too, or is it just for the tortoises?
yeah I think I might put some plants in there just planted a grape vine going with there natural enviroment. I thought I would do it perfect as they will be with me all thir life and wanted to not be an eyesoar.
That is simply beautiful! I sure wish I could have something like that for my smaller torts...
Daniel...you did a really nice job...
Plant a couple of Hibiscus too, the blooms are beautiful and the torts love to eat them...
Cheers everyone for the nice comments!
I keep 5 hermanns eastern which are 8yrs old 3 female 2 male and 2 Greeks 2 and a half sex not 100% sure yet.
In sunny England weather has been very good recently for this time of year at least with the greenhouse they can go in there on colder summer days.
Has anyone got any ideas for some good plants to use I have put a palm in there, grape vine and will get hibiscus was wondering whether an olive tree would be ok. Also whats best to put in the greenhouse? I have made a nesting site already.
What about a strawberry patch? Or a fruit tree. I have a fig tree in mine....my tort loves figs. You could put some pansies...or some other kind of flowers. You are so lucky to have all that space.
I shall take a trip to the nearest garden centre. At the moment I have made a hide with rocks and a flower pot has anyone got some good ideas for another hide?
Cheers
