Is it okay to put my Russian outside in his enclosure when the weather is cooler? The sun is shining, it's just about 60 degrees here in east Texas. Just wondering, I'm trying to keep him busy so he doesn't try to hibernate.

60 degrees is a little cold! Do you have a temp gun? I the sun is out, it might be warmer close to the ground. It's good to check, and the tep difference can be enough-- so that he can catch some sun :D

Are you as a temp gun, I find it very helpful. It is amazing how much warmer it is in the enclosure at ground level. Especially next to the walls. It can be as much as 15 or 20° warmer than the air temperature.
