Outside time!

Its 50° out today and absolutely gorgeous, I want to take my lil boy outside for a walk in the yard but I'm worried about the temp. Is it still to chilly?

That would depend upon how 'lil your 'lil boy is.

It would be safe until it begins feeling cool to the touch or begins to slow down. If full sunshine can be had, that would help.

Take an infrared thermometer or a remote probe from a thermometer and put it in full sun where you want to take the tortoise. What is the temp there? If its above 70-75, you should be fine. Below that and I would just leave him in.

I was told before for mine that if I could walk outside comfortably, barefoot, for the time he's out he'd be ok.
