Hi everyone, I have a 6 year old Greek tortoise, I’ve had him for about 2 1/2 years and I’m just wondering if his beak needs filling. Google shows really drastic overgrowth, his it’s bad but over the years has grown. But I don’t know if it’s normal or past it. He eats his food off of a slate to help it and he has no problem eating. Just wanted some input.. not comfortable doing it myself so I’ll have to get him to a vet when he needs it filed down. Just moved, looking for a new vet anyways. Thanks!

Looks pretty good to me. What can help is to smear some food onto the slate so he has to scrape it off. Use his favorite if it's one that can be smeared.
