Peanut cactus for Hermann tortoises

Hello everyone, do Hermann tortoises can eat this kind of peanut cactus? I got it as a gift and few of parts have fallen off so I would like to give it to my sweetie. Is it ok? How about pickles

Probably not a good idea. I don’t know if this is edible, but you will probably. Ever be able to get all the spines off of the cactus. They cannot eat spines, a lot of people think it is ok but if it would get caught in your throat it will theirs as well. I would do it
