I was told from a local breeder that I can feed small animal pellet food for my baby Sulcata. We have a guinea pig and these are the ingredients for the food.

That food probably won't harm your sulcata, but it is not a healthy diet. Their digestive system works most efficiently when they have long fiber (grass and weeds) in their diet. If you want to feed pelleted food there are several available. ZooMed makes a tortoise food pellet https://zoomed.com/natural-grassland-tortoise-food/ and Mazuri makes another that is the go to food for many keepers http://www.mazuri.com/mazuritortoisediet.aspx. I have used both of these products and mixed them with weeds and grass from my yard.

I currently give mine a mixture of different weeds, grasses & an assorted mix of what we grow in our garden. Just wanted to add an extra mix of variety for nutrients.
