Hello. I'm a total newbie at tortoise owning (kinda. have a russian for 5 years), and just bought (a couple weeks a go) a baby leo. After living in semi-bad conditions (by me sadly. i had no idea what i was doing), i've fixed up his/her enclosure, and have pampered the hatchling. Apparently I've pampered too much because now he/she only will eat lettuce now. I usually give it as a treat, and feed it w/ a spring mix, but somehow, recently, the hatchling finds its way through the mix and picks out the romaine, red, etc.... types of lettuce. I hand fed watson (its name) some collard greens, and he/she spit it out, and started to crawl towards the lettuce in his/her bowl and started munching. That was today. I'm worried that he/she might not get the nutrients he/she needs, so should i just take out the lettuce? Does anyone else have a picky picky tortoise?
