Hello! I’m from the UK. I brought about 6 plants from Internet Reptile (local pet store and big online) the others I know are fine in the enclosure, but these I’m unsure of? I can’t quite identify them so thought I’d come and ask you lovely people! I put afew pics at different angles. Really hope someone can identify these two.

Im hoping to put them in my leopard tortoise enclosure, just want to know if he does eat them they are safe... thanks!

(also added a pic of my enclosure just soyou may judge ha)

Photos 4 and 5 are Pothos.
Its edible.
Photo 6 are Bromeliads.
They're tough to chew and my tortoises avoid them.
Awesome! Thanks for that - at least that’s one of the plants sorted. The petshop is very good and unlikely to sell anything harmful to torts, just want to make sure they are safe in the viv.

generally my tort only eats the food in his bowl, however if I’m late feeding him he will go on munching spree and destroy the plants in his viv.

the Bromeliad in my torts viv was more just for some shade and variation in plants. I’ll be happy if he doesn’t eat that one tbh ;)

so now I just need to know the plant in image 1-3 any ideas anyone?

That plant doesn't look like anything I've seen here. But I'm in Florida, USA.

Still looking to find out what this plant is and if it’s safe in the viv, anyone have any ideas?

It looks like it might be related to the button fern, but honestly I've never seen that plant before.

Photo 6. I like your enclosure. :<3::tort::<3:

9.9 out of 10. I would give you a 10 if your leopard tortoise also show in the photo. ;)

You’re probably right! The pet store I brought this from had a list of plants ‘mixed ferns’ was on there, but the plants themselves were mixed up under uv lights - unlabelled and didn’t specify what they were, hence why I’ve ended up in this situation...

The pet store advised - all the plants they had available were able to go into a viv, maybe just didn’t specify with what reptile. I still haven’t put this plant in as I’m unsure if it’s safe. Shame really, I think it would look good and work well.
