There are a couple of these in front my apartment complex, any idea what it is? Ive looked through the tortoise table and Yvonne's common plants sticky but didn't see it :(

Gorgeous Dogwood! Another one I can't grow here! It likes acidic soil and mine is all mixed with limestone:(
Thank you! I was thinking regardless i would love to plant this. The tree really is beautiful! Im sorry this plant doesnt survive well in texas. We apparently had pretty bad acidic rain (thanks to history class) and thats probably why.

Wait, i googled dogwood tree and the tips of the petals look a little different . The ones by me are pointed, the ones on Google seem like its cut out at the tips?

It sort of looks like a bunchberry tree - Cornus canadensis
They do look like bunchberry's, looks like most of it comes as a ground cover or shrub. Maybe the in front of a house would look nice.
A member of the dogwood family still so you were both correct.
