IMG_2317.JPG IMG_2319.PNG This plant grows everywhere in huge clumps, at first I thought it was Bindii but now seeing we're it's starting to flower I have my doubts.

The first picture looks like mimosa seedlings sprouting. The second reminded me of pickerel, but that is a marginal plant, or one that grows by water.

It is sensitive to touch and water, when i spray it or touch it it closes up after a while. Although the flowers are different from mimosa.

I guess the true question is are either of these plants edible?

I'm confused.

Are there two plants here? If so, which one has the flowers? The first plant, I'd go with Yvonne, it looks like mimosa and mimosa is sensitive.

If there is a second plant there, I can't get a good sense of it. The picture of the flowers is too close up (for these old eyes) and it's hard to see in the third picture because it's bunched up in a hand. Any chance you can get a clump of the plant and take a snap of it on a counter? Pull out a single or two and put it next to the clump when you take the picture.
