You can source plantain and other tortoise food seeds on eBay. I picked up 1-1/2 lbs. of clean chicory seeds for under $5.00 or so. Earlier in the season, I had already purchased my plantain. When I came into the house all proud of myself saying I had just broadcast planted 2000 plantain seeds in my russian enclosure, my wife, Karen looked at me and said, “Really, Ken? I spent all day yesterday pulling plantain out of the flower beds!"
