Hi! I found a man who sells aloe vera, sempervivum and opuntia and want to buy some from my baby. He said he doesn't use pesticides or any other chemicals on them. Substrate is humus and some store bought soil. My question is, would repotting still be necessary? Their main use for me would be decoration of the enclousure :). Would that soil be dangerous for him?

Store bough soil still may have additives. I would replant just to be extra safe.

Yes, you are right. What would be a good substrate for aloe and sempervivum? :)

Like any succulents, they need porous soil with good drainage. Pls, be sure to post pictures, would live to see those plants

I will post pictures as soon as I buy them. I think I'll get a yucca plant and bromilacea. If I got it right, they are safe? :D
