Hello All,
I am in my second year having this tort pen. Now having 5 Hermann's Tortoises in my 8x20 pen things have changed. These guys are like tanks...eating and crushing plants. We are looking for new plants to plant or shrubs to plant, this fall when we redesign the interior of the pen. Here is my list of what we think might work, any hints will be helpful. We live in Mesa, Arizona so the summers are brutal. The pen has morning sun and afternoon sun from 3:00pm til about 5:30pm during the summer. Here the plants: Ogon, Evergreen Giant, Lemon Grass, Citronella Grass, Yarrow, geraniums, Chewing Fesue, Chicory, Chickweed, Watercress. So these are a few that I have looked up.
