Aside from the usual weeds, what other plants do you guys recommend to have in an enclosure? I bought the testudo seed mix but its going to be a while until they grow. Do any of you guys recommend anything i could buy that i can already plant on my enclosure? I'm also looking into nurseries that dont use pesticides but its going to be a challenge since most usually do use them... Would really love the input.

If there is a Saturday open air market in your area, you may be able to find organic plants there. Lots of succulents, aloe Vera, spider plant, jade…these are plants I've included in Little Ricky's chamber. They've all lasted at least a week before he decides to eat them.
I can't stress enough how important it is to remove the potting soil if it has any of those white styrofoam balls in it or pumice or other soil fluffing agents. For some reason tortoises find these attractive to eat, and it's a bad news then due to impaction. With my current spider plant in Little Ricky's chamber, I took some plastic lawn edging and made a circular barrier to keep him from completely eating it. Now he can only eat in the leaf tips that grow over it.
