That's horrible!!! Poor baby!! And everyone always Makes fun of me when I'm cutting them!! I'll show them this!!

I always make a point of cutting them, I have since I was a kid and saw pictures of birds with them around their necks. So sad.
Sometimes these things fly out of garbage trucks, get caught on animals in landfills, and fall of garbage barges into the ocean, so it is as important to cut them as it is to "not litter"

I always cut those and I teach my boys to do the same. Thanks for reminding people Terry.
I've seen everything from dolphins and fish, to sea birds injured by them.
That is soooo sad!!!!!
How terrible. Couldn't they just be made out of recycled cardboard instead of plastic?

I have always cut the stupid plastic rings sice I was a kid and saw a Gull with one around his neck. It really botherd me.
What kind of turtle is/was that. I can not see it on this silly computer and my phone makes it appear too small.
