So, currently my Russian Tortoise gets one to two drops of Liquid vitamin added to his diet once a week. Along with repti-calcium.

I was told to add vitamins to his diet due to his previous poor care and diet provided.

I was wondering, I've read sources saying multivitamin is usually unneeded for a healthy tortoise with an varied rich diet, but I've been adding it to help add in bringing him back up to health with a new, proper and improved diet. And I wanted to know if I should continue to do so, as I can't find easy information on how to properly use vitamins (Especially liquid!).

He seems to have been improving alot.

Since I've installed his UVB, increased his heating, changed his diet and been adding supplements. But I wanted to gather the advice of members here :)

My view is that the only supplement needed is a tiny pinch of calcium powder sprinkled sparsely on food three times a week.

You can overdo the vitamin thing. It’s much better to be feeding the correct diet in the first place
