Pumpkin!

Got a couple of large pumpkins for our various critters the other day. OP had his 1st pumpkin and he loved it! He was a little wary at first, but then it was love at first bite

Yep. Its that time of year again.

On November 1st my local pumpkin patch lets me raid the field for all the leaves, blossoms and pumpkins I can fit in my truck... Whatever I don't take gets disced back into the soil.

Yes just a big chunk of raw pumpkin! My son saved a big piece just for OP before all the ducks, geese, chickens, guinea fowl and piggie got it!

14-15 months. I don't know his exact hatch date. We got him the end of August 2010 and was told he was about a month old then.

It's truly amazing how much tort food one pumpkin vine can provide. We usually have a few on the edges of our property.
