Pyramiding and adults

Just out of curiosity, if you have a fully grown, healthy tortoise, can they still pyramid, or once they are full grown and shell fully formed, that won't happen. Not asking for my own guy, but just curious about if its only for growing/developing tortoises...

It's only for very young tortoises.

Pyramiding is caused by growth in conditions that are too dry. No growth = no pyramiding. They can still pyramid if they are still growing. It has nothing to do with age. It has to do with growth.
